Tim and I had a fantastic time together attending all the gem and mineral shows across Tucson. We took our camper van and stayed at the Lazy Days KOA For the week.
Some of the highlights included meeting Cynthia Thornton of Green Girl Studios and her daughte, Azale. Cynthia create many of the pewter focal pieces I love to use in my jewelry creations. Her style is very organic and whimsical and usually include an inspirational quote or word on the back which makes them so unique.
The shows are all over the city and most venues are convention event centers or huge tents the size of a football field. We attended at least one show a day for a week. Some shows were more about rocks, stones, and crystals, while others were more about beads and gemstones. We had so much fun and made so many new connections to purchase wholesale for our store.
it was a great experiencet and one we will look forward to attending again next year.
